About

Painting lush cinematic soundscapes, Huzzy emanates a transcendent sonic pallet covered in an array of layered textures, dreamy melodies, and thematic motifs. By projecting scenes that invoke melancholic sun faded memories, the duo’s music feels like hazy golden hour drives into a California sunset, or getting lost in a blurry neon-filled foreign city, or even the soundtrack to a found 8mm archival film of a coming of age couple in denim riding horseback. Paying homage to the dreamscapes of Chapterhouse, Cocteau Twins, and Eno era U2, Huzzy brings a fresh perspective to the dreampop genre with their modern production approach and astral-Americana sound. Transport yourself and drift into the ethereal world of Huzzy. Huzzy is: Hanna Ashbrook (songwriter/singer) & Matt Allen (guitarist/producer). Contact: huzzyband@gmail.com
