Hurricane Roses is an Indie-Americana band from the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles, California. They are currently in-studio and writing material for a new release to follow up their latest single, Best Dress. Hurricane Roses recently returned to the scene after a brief hiatus. “I had planned to move to LA,” says singer/songwriter Angi Poux, “but shortly after, I discovered I was pregnant. So these past few years have been focused on being a mother and finding my way through all the new changes.” What started as an opportunity to reconnect turned into a reunion concert in late 2018. “The response to our reunion show was overwhelming,” says acoustic guitar player Jon Havens. “We knew we had to get back into the studio immediately.” Hurricane Roses recently released a recording of Best Dress, their rendition of a song that has long been a favorite during their live performances. “This song always felt like something that we should’ve written,” adds Angi. “It’s dark, but hopeful. And I feel like we walk that line a lot in our songwriting.” Best Dress is available now wherever music is streamed.
