About
Hollow Flowers is a shoegaze/alternative band from Stevens Point, Wisconsin, USA. The pandemic-born project, fronted by Matty Ann, started just like Matty's earlier music under her own name; as a bedroom project to release new material. The project features Katelyn Werner (Matty Ann & The Vacant/Age of Fable) on bass and the duo is joined by a massive library of samples and drum breaks. Hollow Flowers' self titled debut release features the familiar, fuzz driven, wall-of-sound of Matty Ann & The Vacant, the breakbeat sample production of Matty's side project Alley Dash, and melds it all into a charged-yet-dreamy haze of rock & roll. -Steady Diet of Red Medicine (2024) All profile photos by: Lili Breitenfeldt
