High Waisted
Brooklyn, New York, United States
About
High Waisted’s music is a psychedelic lullaby. A gang of NYC surf rockers with pop sensibilities, feminist ideals and an affliction for rock and roll, they leave a trail of confetti in their wake. They’ve been called NME Magazine’s “Buzz Band to Watch,” declared “The Ultimate Party Band” by GQ and have received praise from Consequence of Sound, Noisey, Nylon Magazine, Billboard, Paste and more. High Waisted’s new song ‘Tanlines’ will linger in your mind like warm memories of a summer romance. 'Love Child' will fill your speakers with vintage guitars, bongos, and sultry vocals, transporting you listeners to the 60’s. High Waisted is back at full velocity in 2023 reviving the sound of the 60's and an Austin Powers fever dream. For fans of Drug Dealer, Melody’s Echo Chamber, Lee Hazelwood and Stereolab,
