Listen to the Heads Off playlist - Heads Off (Greatest Hits) Heads Off is a Sheffield-based alternative one man band crafting twisted pop songs for the terminally curious. With five albums under his belt — all released independently — he delivers catchy hooks wrapped in dark wit, subversive lyrics, and an unmistakably British sense of strange. The upcoming sixth album, Incredibly Strange (out August 1st, 2025), is his sharpest, weirdest, and most accessible work yet — Think The Fall meets Sparks at a haunted funfair, or Jarvis Cocker in a Kafka dream. Heads Off makes music for listeners who don’t want wallpaper — they want something that stings, and stays in their heads. Heads Off is Danny Lowe, who is also the bass player for Babybird / Baby Bird. He has also produced two albums with Stephen Jones Happy Stupid Nothing and King of nothing.
