About
Hot topic type shit. Straight from the Bay and stuck in 2008, Haunted Mask is blending raw emotion, punishing riffs, and theatrical edge. Formed by longtime friends Cesar Moreno (guitar/vocals), Gabe Sulit (vocals), and Dylan Knittel (drums), the band began as a side project from their previous group Her Last Letter. After linking up with masked member only known as Hive (bass), Haunted Mask evolved into a full-fledged force with a clear mission: make heavy music that hits just as hard emotionally as it does sonically. Known for explosive live shows and tracks like “Void” and “Never Be”, Haunted Mask fuses personal storytelling with crushing breakdowns, atmospheric hooks, and a vibe they proudly describe as “Hot Topic type shit”. Their sound pulls from metalcore, post-hardcore, and cinematic influences — all brought to life with the help of producer Nick Loiacono (Fang Studios), whose vision helps sharpen the chaos into clarity. Whether you’re throwing down in the pit or screaming along in your room, Haunted Mask is the hit you’ll keep coming back for — and they’re just getting started.
