Hail Maries
Los Angeles, California, United States
About
2 sisters who like to write songs. The Hail Maries are a Los Angeles-based sister duo composed of Victoria and Makayla Wymer. Their music seamlessly blends nostalgic rock 'n' roll influences with classic blood harmonies, drawing from their gospel roots, as well as soul and pop melodies. In 2021, the duo recorded their debut record with producer Derek Thomas of Vista Kicks, releasing it in two parts: Unrequited Love and Unrequited Love Part II. The following year, they spent a significant portion of their time on the road, touring extensively across the United States, the UK, and France. In 2024, The Hail Maries released their first self-produced singles, There Isn't Anyone Else and Leaving Without You, alongside Derek Thomas. The Hail Maries have had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of their musical idols, including Vista Kicks, Phoebe Bridgers, The War on Drugs, and The Rolling Stones.
