Gui Rezende

About

Gui Rezende’s transcendent blend of pop, soul, blues, and rock has made him a mainstay of the British music scene. A storyteller with a poet’s eye for detail, he employs his soulful falsetto and laid-back guitar chops to guide his listeners on a genuine emotional journey.  Now, with the release of his debut solo material Gui is beginning a new chapter of his story, charting out bold new territory as a singer/songwriter.   After being born and raised in Brazil, Gui and his family left for Europe when he was 13 years old. Upon arriving in Portugal, he realized that he was meant for a life in music, and spent his formative years traveling the continent and honing his craft.  Eventually, he landed in London, where he became an in-demand session player, most notably collaborating with emerging British artist Alex Francis.   After spending years brushing up against A-list talents as a sideman, Gui is now out to prove that he is ready for the spotlight.  His songs occupy a unique place in modern music - deeply meaningful, yet still upbeat and radio-friendly.  With a steady stream of new material expected for 2022 and beyond, Gui is poised to leave an impact on the modern music world.
