Goldblume

About

Veterans of the East Anglia music scene, Goldblume continue in their goal to make music that was predominantly popular in their late-teens & early twenties, despite being much older. Often exhibiting a 'jack-of-all-trades' approach to genre, they've shown flashes of post-rock, grunge, college rock, math-rock, prog-rock, & indie-pop, in an effort to catch all of their influences at once. Over the course of 7+ years, 2 EP's, and 1 album, they've grown into something decidedly cohesive, embracing the awkward fumbling that comes from a general disregard for musical homogeny. Simply put, Goldblume are not an act; when we smile, it's because we're having fun, when we're agitated, it's because we're pissed off and feel slighted, and when we're shy and quiet, it's because we feel anxious. Sophomore Album 'Sleep On Your Side' out September 2nd on Aaahh!!! Real Records.
