It all started in 1812 when Columbus, Ohio officially became a city, and thus a place from which a person or a thing could come. Fast forward some years and one such thing is Gold Row. Fronted by Christopher Boisvert, and often staged with accompanying friends and musicians, Gold Row takes inspiration from the likes of Gregory Alan Isakov, Bon Iver, Hovvdy, and Penny and Sparrow along with many many others that you’re simply just not cool enough to know probably. After spending years traveling the country with metal, rock, and hardcore bands, the songs which make up the Gold Row discography have only ever existed in the confines of a central Ohio living room until now. Garnering reviews from industry types and normies alike that could be quoted as saying “wow”, and “this is really good”, and “I didn’t know you played music”, Gold Row is bursting onto the indie acoustic scene with a fresh take on some of life’s oldest problems, and melodies to make them a bit easier.
