Hailing from the shores of the South Coast of New South Wales, Ginger Parks are a three piece that indulge in all things Art Pop. Upon meeting on the Sydney Cover’s band scene, the three continuously found themselves the last ones with a beverage in hand after a gig, and they began to notice an emerging theme. Either they quite enjoyed each others company or, they quite enjoyed the company of the beverage. Ever the optimists, they decided to go with the former and meet in the studio (without said beverages). Thankfully they were right and the process of writing together came with relative ease. Bass player Lachie’s musical knowledge, Kieran’s ability to play almost every instrument in existence and Rob’s soaring vocals collaboratively bring Ginger Parks’ unique style to life. The lads draw on a varied range of influences from Nothing but Thieves to Sam Smith, and classics like Prince, MJ and Sir David Bowie. Ginger Parks is made up of two thirds brothers Parker fronted by flaming front man Rob, evening out the trio and bringing a refreshing, gingery jive to Australian Pop Music.
