About
Explaining GENGVEJ is not easy. GENGVEJ is a music project. There are no musical boundaries, but there are always new surprises. GENGVEJ makes pop, rock, trance, LofFi and also jazz. Many subdivided projects such as THE BROKEN CLAIMS (indie ska), GOLDSCHAKAL (German rock) and GIRLS FOR EVERYTHING (dance-pop) don't seem to fit together at first. But they all come from GENGVEJ. The text writing is the responsibility of GENGVEJ. The music is supported by AI, in addition to organic and sample parts. TUNEDLOUD.COM called this a “pioneering work in the symbiosis of art and artificial intelligence” in its review of the album “Album” in December 2024. SONICREALMS.DE wrote in the recession on “Kontrolle zurück” (11/2024), “that modern technology does not replace music, but can enrich it!” Despite the many controversies surrounding the use of AI, GENGVEJ strives to produce entertaining but also socially critical songs. And not with three clicks, but with attention to detail. And therein lies the difference to many other AI musicians.
