Their upcoming full-length features artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:5fyHpJg1xW8OZqPyzmQv2C" data-name="Hit The Lights">Hit The Lights</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4RkIeqeY7seRZby4X73Ajk" data-name="Makeout">Makeout</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5djG2fWMe75twMqdSDorI6" data-name="High Wire">High Wire</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:40vUY0Z0SDZ2RNEcLK5yGy" data-name="glimmers">glimmers</a> and many others & with national tour dates & festival appearances in the works, Free Friends is poised to explode onto the scene. Their dual vocals and emotionally charged lyrics are reminiscent of <a href="spotify:artist:24XtlMhEMNdi822vi0MhY1" data-name="Taking Back Sunday">Taking Back Sunday</a>'s anthemic hooks while minimalist verses that could’ve been written by <a href="spotify:artist:6FBDaR13swtiWwGhX1WQsP" data-name="blink-182">blink-182</a>, are complemented by poignant cello leads comparable to <a href="spotify:artist:3zxKH0qp3nBCuPZCZT5Vaf" data-name="Yellowcard">Yellowcard</a>'s violin. It's a unique yet definitively pop punk sound that connects & builds upon every era of the genre. The band's latest track, Letterman Down, featuring <a href="spotify:artist:5SAYvojx5xHsRISXBOZz0A" data-name="Jack The Underdog">Jack The Underdog</a> is a gut-punch of emo realism dressed in stadium-sized pop punk. With soaring hooks and a chorus built for screaming in the rain, it blends the vulnerability of <a href="spotify:artist:3Ayl7mCk0nScecqOzvNp6s" data-name="Jimmy Eat World">Jimmy Eat World</a> with the early raw intensity of <a href="spotify:artist:3vAaWhdBR38Q02ohXqaNHT" data-name="The All-American Rejects">The All-American Rejects</a>. It’s another link in the chain of what's shaping up to be an epic debut full length, set to release October, 2025.
