Fight the Future

About

Powered by leftist and feminist ideology and a curiosity for the paranormal, Fight the Future creates music that meshes the bygone melodies of Bay Area punk rock with the heart of New York hardcore.
In 2019, Kelly joined Adrian on guitar with Jordan on drums for what was proposed to be a thrash or power violence project. Shortly thereafter, the original singer fell through, Kelly traded the guitar for the mic and Dook joined on bass to help cement the sound of what the band is today. Taking influence from the likes of H20, Boysetsfire, Converge and Ceremony, the group has established a one of a kind sound and a drive to keep the music flowing.
The four piece flourished during the pandemic and wrote both a four song demo and the five songs that would become their debut 7” self-release, “Golden Door”. Since then, the band has honed their hard-hitting performance and has found favor within diverse show lineups.
