Family Junket
Chicago, Illinois, United States
About
Join the family! Family Junket is the collective voice of Chicago-based musicians Aliyah Jones, Clarence Young, Emma Blau, Rahila Coats, Carmani Edwards, Scott Daniel, Hasani Cannon, and brothers Zach, Jonah, and Max Lazarus. They are social workers, teachers, dancers, writers, painters, photographers, performance artists, and engineers coming together to create healing spaces, community, and parties. Melding flutes, saxophones, trumpets, and violins, with unique vocal compositions, layered percussion, and wavy electronic production, the band creates music best listened to with the family.
