About
Ewig.Endlich. (German: ‚Eternally finite‘ or ‚Eternal, finally‘) is a five-piece Post Metal band from Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia with German lyrics. They were formed in fall 2015 by the guitarists Maik and Sören, after they stopped taking part in a Prog Metal Band. In Spring Ewig.Endlich. released their first Download Demo Track ‚Menschenkind‘ (‚Mancub‘) and started playing club shows. In january 2016 they recorded – again by theirselves – the next two Download Demo Tracks ‚Schwarz und Stern‘ (‚Black And Star‘) and ‚Abend‘ (‚Evenfall‘). They were mixed and mastered by Der Weg einer Freiheit’s Nikita Kamprad. In September he did as well the recordings for vocals and drums at the Ghost City Studios in Bavaria. The band organized and financed the recordings by theirselves to create their wish sound. Guitars and bass were recorded at the Home Studio of Maik, Nikita Kamprad did the mix and Mastering again.
