About
Emily-Rose and the Wild Things is a fierce and fresh world of music led by frontwoman Emily-Rose Sarkova, who sings, plays keyboards & synths and writes most of this genre breaking material. Here one finds intricate, relevant lyrics of weight and beauty, underpinned by profound but constantly surprising acoustic and electric worlds. The band is a heavy hitting fusion of musicians spanning indie, jazz, folk, funk, metal, classical, electronic, and all the in-betweens. Nick Henderson on bass, Chris Stone on violin, Abby Constable on drums and Luke Chapman on guitar. From performing classical piano in French cathedrals and klezmer accordion across Poland, to playing tango in Buenos Aires and funk keyboards and synths at the infamous Pineapple Lounge, Woodfordia, there isn’t much music Emily-Rose hasn’t explored. And although you may also find her working world music magic with ARIA nominated group Chaika or singing songs with her duo Little Clouds, her latest project is definitely one wild sonic ride to a very different musical landscape.
