About
Emil Carlsson is a Sweden-born music producer, songwriter and artist. He started off his music career as a guitarist and later on moved towards music production and songwriting. Emil has always relied on his knowledge on music production, songwriting, and instruments to craft his own music, making him an independent multi-talented musician. His debut album Daydreamer was released in December 2017 focusing on his love for acoustic music, with inspiration taken from Ryan Adams and John Mayer to mention a few. The first song on the record Will You Stay with Me? started playing on Swedish radio stations. It also topped the chart on a local radio station and stayed there for months. In August 2018 he was back with the single Breathe. It is sonically different from his debut album, as he drew inspiration from other artists such as Lana Del Rey and Lauv. What came out was an honest and true tune that paints his moments spent in New York City. In October 2018 he released his acoustic single Outside, which in a vulnerable way reflects on how it is to outgrow your old habits, becoming boring, different and irrelevant. With an intimate acoustic atmosphere, lyrics painting pictures and telling stories, it's easy to feel connected to the song.
