About
My name is Elias and I'm a Norwegian drummer and songwriter. I write the kind of music nobody has written in 40 years—yet my take is entirely original. My self-written debut EP (to be released October 2025) is not a nostalgia trip but a bold reimagination of a lost sound, with expansive arrangements and a melody-driven New Wave style. Influenced in large part by the British pop/rock tradition, with bands like XTC, Echo & the Bunnymen, and Joy Division being especially influential here, the record incorporates elements like string quartet, saxophone and synth-driven layers, creating something distinct yet unfamiliar. The music I put here serves as a portfolio of my songwriting and production work. So if you like it, please get in touch – that's what I want! eliaspellicer.com
