About
"Upstairs for thinking, downstairs for dancing.. The Chad of the music scene." Formed in 2016 and hailing from Gloucestershire, UK. ELESSAR are a 3-piece Pop-Rock band making waves in the underground scene with their unique combination of heavy riffs and emotive pop melodies to get your on your feet. Dropping the sad vibes of the past, the new sound brings in a party atmosphere while candidly addressing realistic situations, encountered by frontman, Ricky, through recent years. Rebranded in 2019, ELESSAR have been touted as ones to watch, renowned by many for passionate and energetic live performances. Leading them to share the stage with acts such as: Boston Manor, Milk Teeth and Mallory Knox to name a few. ELESSAR’s debut EP 'Reflections' (prod. by Romesh Dodangoda) and sophomore EP 'Is This All We Are' (prod. by Matt O'Grady) show a sensitive side to the band, reminiscent of the early 00's emo days. With 'Saudade' and 'Arrogance' being the top picks of that era. However since re-branding, their latest singles 'City Talk', 'Give It Up' and 'Is It Love' boast a much more confident approach to songwriting, allowing them to be compared to the likes of DON BROCO, Lower Than Atlantis & Bring Me The Horizon. Get ready for 2022.. Because ELESSAR are now entering the golden years, with their leading single GOLD ready to drop in July, a follow up single MI AMOR and the jackpot EP "It's Not That Deep" later in the year, it's going to be a wild ride for sure.
