Elephants and Stars

About

Elephants and Stars are back, armed with a new full-length record Under The Earth and Above Heaven. A Canadian rock band that first turned heads with their 2022 album, Last Chance Power Drive, a collection of songs showcasing both the band’s musical prowess and talent for lyrical storytelling. Hailed by EARMILK for its “fast-paced, infectious rock” it features standout tracks like On The Table that perfectly encapsulate the band’s talent for combining serious themes with vibrant, danceable beats. In 2023, they released Get Your Own Army, an album that continued their sonic evolution. Produced by Steve Chahley and mixed by alt-rock icon Ron Hawkins, it showcased the band’s balance between introspective lyrics and full-throttle rock. In Tinnitist, a reviewer commented on the band's gritty themes and complex emotions, saying, “Elephants and Stars is the band for the moment, balancing accessibility with a satisfying edge, and finding the kind of contrast that makes for memorable rock music” With a sound that sits somewhere between the raw energy of Foo Fighters or Jimmy Eat World, Elephants and Stars is often compared to these rock icons, but they’re carving out a space that’s all their own. Testimonials from fans have been equally enthusiastic, “Their shows are electric,” says one fan. “You can feel the energy they bring, and every song sounds like it was written just for the moment you’re in.” Now Under The Earth and Above Heaven comes new songs for new moments.
