Eavesdrop

About

Originating as a trio, Kara Wolf, Laura Buchanan and Kerrie Wert maintain their vocal roots with collaborative songwriting. With over 10 years of writing, performing & touring together, these Western Mass natives have honed a special sound. In total, Eavesdrop has released 2 EPs, 2 LPs, and over 10 singles. Their debut EP (2016), The Afterglow, exhibits their vocally charged acoustic roots. The band expanded with the Tides LP (2017), co-produced by Alan Evans (Soulive) & Ross Bellenoit (Amos Lee, The Sweetback Sisters). They found their sonic home with their self-titled LP (2021), Incorporating valley musicians – Jared Quinn (John Cruz, Live on the Planet w/ Kim Zombik) on guitar, Sturgis Cunningham (Peter Tork, Martin Sexton) on drums, & Marc Seedorf (Dinosaur Jr., Mark Mulcahy, Eat Fire Spring) on bass/production. Eavesdrop’s latest releases include newest members: Darby Wolf (Matt Schofield, Band of Killers, formerly: Rubblebucket, Ryan Montbleu) on keys, & Andrew Ricketts (Foreign Movie, formerly: D-Soul Davis Experience, CJ Edwards & The Funk Fellowship) on drums, with singles (Find Me, Honest, Not On My Mind) feat. engineering by Jeff Lynch of Mainline Recording. The EVERGREEN EP, released April 2024, was produced/engineered by Spencer Hattendorf & Andrew Oedel at Ghost Hit Recording & features Reed Sutherland (Cloudbelly, Heather Maloney, Seth Glier) on bass.
