Featuring Caroline Cawley, Bill Fisher, Marty Fisher (Church of the Cosmic Skull) and Rafe Dunn (Amusement Parks on Fire, JCDX), the group combines Cawley’s distinctive song writing with layers of discordant guitars, atmospheric swells and colossal heaviness whilst exploring a wide range of genres from prog and shoegaze to doom-metal, noise-rock and folk. Praise for third album 'War of the Ether' (2022) ⤵️ 'This album is a masterpiece, a Magnum Opus, a tour de force.' - Ghost Cult Magazine 'An absolute triumph, this album is a true work of art.' - Echoes and Dust 'Magical, majestic, and immensely widescreen, the scope of War of the Ether is simply breathtaking, and leaves you feeling stunned. Awesome in the literal sense.' — Aural Aggravation 'A powerful piece of art in its own right... drenched in an air of anxiety that is riveting in the way that many of their peers aren't.' — The Sleeping Shaman 'DFM are sounding more cinematic than ever on their third full-length, with their unique fusion of doom, folk, shoegaze and post-metal taking on even more dynamic and evocative shapes.' — The Quietus
