About
DruBeatz is a Hip Hop/R&B artist and producer. He developed a niche for harmonizing his vocals with charismatic melodies. Mixing his Chicago background with soulful tunes. Coming from the Southside of Chicago, Illinois. DruBeatz grew up drawing cartoons during class and learning to play the piano in kindergarten after school. His passion outgrew classical music and eventually his interest in Hip Hop developed after listening to artists such as: OutKast, Kanye West, and Ludacris. DruBeatz started out recording random comedic freestyles for pure entertainment. During 2007, making beats became a daily active hobby. After graduating high school, DruBeatz decided to pursue his passion at Columbia College Chicago, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Audio Production concentrated in Visual Media. “I never wanted to be the typical music artist/producer who makes the same predictable songs every time. I’m human just like anyone else. Nobody has just one side to their character, I push myself to be as transparent as possible for people to dive deep and get a genuine look at every part of my life and creativity.” -DruBeatz
