Down River

About
Down River is an American rock band bringing raw and powerful energy wherever they tread. Lead by singer April Draven, her brother and drummer Theo Adamson, Guitarist Zachary Spier, and Bassist Griffin Hall. They formed in 2019 in Utah, bringing a hard, heavy and restless sound to the state. Their first releases were their singles ‘Witch Doctor’ and ‘Upside Down’ which quickly gathered a cult following and caught the attention of local and international radios and podcasts. In early 2021 they dropped their long-awaited debut album and amassed over 30,000 streams in a few short months. Heads are turning and the crowd is buzzing whenever they take on a stage – "Down River embraces their classic rock roots with a tastefully gritty, dirty, raw sound. Wailing vocals, ripping guitar, and a powerful presence. We were getting requests for their music almost immediately after we started playing them on our station." - 92.7, The X
