Raised on classic artists including Bob Dylan and Tom Petty, he soon developed a love for a wide range of contemporary artists as well, ranging from Coldplay to Bon Iver. A self taught multi-instrumentalist, by his teens he was producing recordings in his bedroom. After leaving high school early, he began pursuing music full time, playing street corners, open mic’s and dive bars from Toronto to Nashville, recording with new musicians met along the way. In the spring of 2023, Louis supported his debut album with a string of headline tour dates from Ontario to Ohio. In August 2023, he released the single "Walking To Your Doorway", capitalizing on two recent support dates at Massey Hall.
