About
DILAN SKIES is a British-Indian Singer/Songwriter & Producer from the UK. He began singing as a child but only realised his talent at 15 when he would sing in front of his friends at school. The reactions he got spurred him on to want to explore his musical talents. Being shy at first, he worked alone in his bedroom honing his songwriting & production skills. At 18, he submitted a demo recorded using his phones microphone to a competition hosted by fellow Musician & Influencer Edgar Sandoval Jr . Even with the rough quality of the demo, Sandoval heard SKIES' potential & chose him to win the competition as well as become his mentee. This instilled the confidence in DILAN to seek to properly record his original music which began with his debut single Not Over You in 2020. 2024 has proved to be a big year for SKIES where he has established a consistent blend of Pop/RnB, drawing inspiration from some of his childhood favourites such as Craig David, Justin Bieber, Savan Kotecha, Jay Sean & Justin Timberlake. SKIES is looking to continue this experimentation as he learns to craft his own unique sound while challenging himself to write a new song daily to make 2025 his breakout year. With the support of major press & BBC introducing, you can expect to get used to hearing this name as he looks to develop his artist project as well as write songs for your favourite artists.
