Deerborn

About

Deerborn is a project on the danish music scene with a genre exploring the lines between folk rock and alternative country. The band consists of members from Odense / Copenhagen - all with roots firmly planted in the black rock soil and with backgrounds in bands like Rock Hard Power Spray, Ave and more, it is clear that we deal with musicians who have something on their minds and knows what it takes to get it through to the audience. Lyrically playing with the little things in life we often have a tendency to overlook and sometimes even take for granted. Those things that lies deep in the soul smoldering, until one day it burns through and explodes. The sound leans towards old favorites like Neil Young, Pearl Jam, My Morning Jacket and with good melody pieces from both guitar, moog and violin it is a playful and exciting universe being explored - all wrapped up in a very distinct sound. The energy that shines through the band's live performances, is unique and has a way of drawing in the listeners, pick them up and take them on a journey through the whole spectrum of emotions.
