About
Deep Focus is Charlie Codsi and Rian Cobb who have both just finished their final year of school - but that has not stopped them from having a huge time lately! Deep Focus played and won 3 x 'Battle of the Bands': Riverview, St Josephs and ShoreComp (Ryde). They were invited to play at multiple live shows with the highlight being ShoreShocked Festival alongside Aussie indie legends Beddy Rays and The Rions. And they still found time to record an EP with award-winning UK producer Paul Beard (Robbie Williams, James Blunt, Lily Allen). The first 4 tracks are now streaming on all platforms. Hailing from Sydney suburbia, the lads draw influence from Australian artists such as DMA’S and Lime Cordiale and International greats like The Beatles and Sam Fender. Deep Focus blends musical genres with lyrics about life, love, relationships, mental health, and everything in-between.
