Days On Parade
St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada
About
Belonging to the ever-growing alternative Niagara music scene, St. Catharines’ four-piece Days on Parade have perfected a magnetic balance between neo-psychedelic and garage punk. The heavily nuanced nature of the music itself works together alongside the band’s electrifying live presence to captivate both ears and eyes alike. Formed in the Summer of 2022, the psych-punk power group has quickly proved itself a staple in the greater Canadian alternative scene. The group’s affinity with genre bending has allowed their lend of talent in playing alongside acts such as Protest the Hero, Monowhales, Single Mothers, and Aussie punk trio DZ Deathrays. After a cross-country tour to the East Coast and their debut album release of “The Point” in 2023, Days on Parade has dedicated 2024 to the year of festivals with appearances at St. Catharines’ Vertigo (hosted by Medium Baby), Toronto’s Bitch Fest (hosted by S.T.M.V), St. Catharines’ No Man’s Land (hosted by Indoorshoes) and Guelph’s Gain Fest (hosted by GAIN Media). The four-piece piece consists of vocalist and keyboardist Riss Nixon, guitarist Frankie Wood, bassist Keiron Lashington-Francis, and drummer Lucas Venneri.
