About
Dave Not The King & The Impure Grace Notes, based in Hamburg/Germany, is a music project founded by Jan David a.k.a. Dave Not The King. Our musical style can be best described as Grand Alternative Pop (at least this is what we call it). The list of singer and songwriter Dave's main musical influences encompasses Tori Amos, R.E.M., Jeff Buckley, Coldplay, Sting, Chick Corea and many others, including various classical composers. All these influences (and much more) can be heard on the first DNTK&TIGN album "Halfway to Diamond", released in March 2023.
