About
DAN VV makes twangy, emotional alt-rock. Raised in New England and shaped by both city noise and quiet nostalgia, his songs explore love, loss, grief, anxiety, and the strange beauty of everyday life. His self-produced, self-mixed, debut EP Secondhand Sun is a five-song reflection on finding joy despite the weight of modern isolation and uncertainty. From the searing chorus of "Black Dog" to the quiet reassurance of "It's Alright (Sometimes)," the project moves between fuzzy distortion and twangy acoustic passages, capturing the feeling of trying to stay soft in a world that asks you to harden. DAN VV is based in Brooklyn, NY and is also the guitarist of indie rock band Hipsy Gap. Instagram: @danvv.music
