I don’t like when artist bios tell you nothing about the artist… so here’s a little bit about me: I’m currently based in Seattle, but I was born and raised in Henderson, NV. The things I care about most are my faith in Jesus, my family, and music. In high school I learned how to value work ethic through XC and track, and I also started dating a girl who would become my wife 5 years later. After high school, I went to the US Coast Guard Academy and studied engineering. This place was a grind and turned me into a grumpy old man… but this is when I started writing songs. After graduating from USCGA, I got married but barely saw my wife due to deployments to the Caribbean and East Pacific chasing drug runners and saving people stuck at sea. Between seeing the victims of drug trafficking, and people dying trying to get to the US, I feel like I learned a lot about humanity. Next, my wife and I moved to Juneau, Alaska which was the most beautiful place we have ever been… but when she got pregnant, we found out our baby would have many complications, so we would have to deliver the baby in Seattle to have higher level care. Our baby was born with Down Syndrome and many health concerns, so we permanently moved us to Seattle, which is where we are now. Our son brings so much joy to our life, and inspires us every day. Now I spend my time watching my son grow up, and I make songs when there’s time! Thanks for listening!
