About
“Damn Jackals thrill and thrive around “Lovely Nuthin’”. Another era of New York City glitz and glam rock, a la New York Dolls, and some more modern ticks are all in the DNA of Damn Jackals. “Lovely Nuthin’” leaves off on a more triumphant blast, living in its garage-glam state, and licking the essence of New York City living.” - American Songwriter "“Lovely Nuthin” is a perfect demonstration of Damn Jackal’s style, mixing evergreen vintage ‘60s surf and doo-wop aesthetics, filtering them through scuzzy garage rock influences, and dropping an added dose of modern swaggering glamour on top." - Under The Radar Magazine “The enigmatic raconteurs of rock n roll take influence from 60s Garage Rock, 70s Glam and CBGB-style-Punk to leave your soul as fuzzy as the lead vocals and guitars. When the chorus hits, the same hook-filled magnetism of modern indie-garage rock outfits such as the Strokes draws you even deeper into the single that every outlier will want on their playlists.” -A & R Factory UK (on new single “Lovely Nuthin’”) “Damn Jackals’ new single “Lovely Nuthin’” is perfect for your rambunctious summer adventures. The lux harmonizing guitars and it’s blissfully crisp crooning from lead singer Beau Croxton gives modern day Beach Boys vibes. The guitar fuzz feels like the sun beaming on your skin. -EARMILK “Damn Jackals is about to drop your retro summer bop. “Lovely Nuthin” is a perfect hybrid of old and new.” -Pancakes and Whiskey
