~ Sydney Eora Based Indie Rock ~ The cymbidium orchid is known for its difficulty & unwillingness to grow except under exacting and perfect conditions. Quite fitting as the namesake for the solo project of singer-songwriter Jimmy Hesford, which finally bloomed after meeting drummer Carl Hiramanek & bassist Gideon Traurig in late 2022. Cymbidium’s music showcases the ability of grabbing at your emotions and having you tapping your feet. With bittersweet melodies, ethereal harmonies, dazzling guitars and rhythmic grooves so sweet, you’ll be left wondering where your heart is.
