Cycad

About

Made up of brothers Cam (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Lachie (lead guitar), as well as old friends Eoghan (bass) and Sam (drums), the Naarm/Melbourne four-piece have been gathering momentum in the local music scene since 2021, helped along by their high-energy performances and ability to not take things too seriously. Combining a 70's vibe with modern production styles, Cycad are able to reimagine genres with their own twist. Just like lightning, the guys never strike the same place twice, constantly evolving and exploring new sounds. Cycad are currently working on their debut album, Fridge Magnets, a genre-bending exploration that is heavily inspired by psych-rock and soul, with a few twists of course. "5 stars" - Our parents, probably.
