Birthed from the remains of a smashed car window in a gravel carpark, Copper Feel are ready to bring you to the next sonic dimension. Hailing from Tauranga New Zealand, this four piece brings an earful of sugary goodness. A plethora laden with chiming guitars, soaring vocals and just enough rhythm to get your groove on. There’s no compromise, just a soundscape for you to fill your boots with. The band began at Toi-Ohomai Institute of Technology studying music and bonded over quality banter and a failed attempt on two of the boys’ cars. The combination came from Sharn Wiltshire on vocal, Matty Mcfarlane on lead guitar, Callum Thorburn on bass and Tyrone Dyer on drums. It was meant to be, and since then they have been churning out originals and throwing the mix right into the melting pot. Over the course of the following years, the band has had the pleasure of performing alongside artists from all over New Zealand. The difficulties brought on by 2020 were no match for the music. The course of the year has seen the recording of their debut EP Dopamine Junkie featuring debut single Stars and Skies. The Copper Feel mobile is well underway and there ain’t no stopping it!
