About

Singer-songwriter Connor Morrison is on a mission to bring piano rock back to the forefront. His sound strikes a perfect balance—just pop enough to be approachable, yet gritty enough to keep its rock edge. With this blend, Connor turns the often-forgotten 88-keyed piece of furniture at grandma’s house into an infectious, modern sonic experience. Growing up in a small mountain town near Albuquerque, NM, Connor discovered his love for music, performing, and writing early on. Throughout high school and college, he refined his craft, experimenting with jazz, rock, folk, and more, eventually forming one half of the folk-rock duo, The Meanderings. Alongside Daniel Cravens, Connor sharpened his showmanship and storytelling, culminating in three albums, a Midwest and Southwestern tour, and a newfound confidence in blending diverse influences into his own unique sound. Now based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Connor has elevated his piano rock prowess to new heights. His singles have garnered praise from indie music blogs, and he’s been featured on podcasts like BFF.FM’s Hangover Sessions and My Pop Five. Drawing inspiration from legends like Billy Joel, Elton John, and Ben Folds, Connor is not only reviving the piano rock genre but reshaping it, creating a body of work that is vibrant, expressive, and timeless.
