About

Drawing Influence from artists like Bon Iver, Feist, Phoebe Bridgers, Blake Mills and Sam Fender, these diverse recordings effortlessly blend dusty old guitars, pulsing synths and rich vocals, building a sound full of character and laying a vibrant foundation for Connor's earworm melodies. Playing regularly in Naarm/Melbourne music venues, Connor has been cutting his teeth, honing his stage-craft and testing his own material since he was 15 years old, garnering valuable experience that has landed him session roles and tours with artist such as Hayley Mary, Gordi and Gretta Ray with permanent positions with Eliza Hull and Grand Pine. Connor's growing interest in all things music quickly snowballed into obsession during highschool when he was gifted a friends old sound card, a dented Shure SM58 Microphone and access to the family PC to ‘study’, filling it with demo’s, song sketches and irritated, homework related emails from his English teacher. This obsession has only grown stronger with time, earning him high praise for his engineering and production work. In 2020, Connor released the harmony swept ballad 'Missing' and the driving indie anthem 'Sucker Punch', both of which received great acclaim. Now, he is back with his latest offering, 'Stupid Monkey', a gritty alt-folk collage that explores the messy, frustrating but inevitable process of healing and growth.
