About
We're Colour Theory, a two-member Progressive Rock/Metal/Some Amalgamation of Genres Band from New York featuring Kevin Knebel & Scott Altman. This project was a long-time in the works with the creation of Colour Theory stemming from a one-off song we wrote for an open mic years prior to toss in with some cover songs and jammy intros & interludes. That song, Nova Scotian Jam Wizard, ended up being the title track on our first EP, which should be the first of many to come. Overall, our first EP will have a very prog-rock/prog-metal vibe with some wizard-y nonsense mixed in, but this project will definitely branch out, experiment and have fun. We're also very interested in writing more fun, dance-y math-rock songs and maybe even some jams with midwest emo vibes. We hope you enjoy it!
