Chris Peace is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and live performer from the Philadelphia area. Peace is the creator and producer of Songcraft. The Songcraft concept is simple: he writes songs for the artists who inspire him. He then boldly pitches a freshly-composed piece directly to them, along with an invitation to collaborate and bring the song to life together. Peace acknowledges and respects the time-honored tradition of how songs are pitched to artists, but in Songcraft, he is blazing a fresh trail. 
 "Each song is tailor-made for the artist's individuality and uniqueness," the Philadelphia-based songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist reveals. He says of the artists he's worked with - "they inspire me not only as a songwriter but as a musician as well." 
 Darling Eye is a soulful Americana reckoning on the fleeting human experience, wrapped up with lush harmonies and an unflinching guitar motif. As the first song on Chris Peace’s Songcraft 2, Darling Eye ushers in a fresh chapter of artist collaborations and songwriting that affectionately pushes the boundaries of both genre and hegemony within the landscape of the music industry.
