Chazzy Lake
Brooklyn, New York, United States
About
Rewind a decade’s worth of tape… Charlie Hill sat in the audience of a summer camp talent show and watched a group of counselors and older campers perform Weezer’s Undone – The Sweater Song. “I knew that’s what I wanted to do" - he remembers. Today Chazzy Lake delivers music that is personal and passionate. You can hear the heat glowing between the notes as influences ranging from Roy Orbison to the Talking Heads are combined to create an alt-country-rock sound that is both relatable and experimental, sometimes lush and sometimes stripped down to the bare essentials. From Burlington, Vermont to Brooklyn, New York to Nashville, Tennessee, Chazzy Lake is a former member of groups Bison and J Bengoy and has been active in the music industry since 2012.
