About
Celeste Krishna is an artist & producer who composes songs as life practice, blending Motown-infused Southern rock with the emotional vulnerability of soul. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama & based in NYC, her work is described as "disarmingly soulful" & "true-blue southern soul" by The Austin Chronicle. This year, she releases her 6th studio album, The New Room, a 10-song LP mixing poetic storytelling with Southern rock grooves. Set to soulful electric pianos, gritty guitars, & intricate horns, her music offers a fresh take, challenging the male-dominated legacy of Southern rock. The album explores migration, home, love, & artistry, weaving vulnerability, humor, & social critique. Celeste’s previous records have earned 11.5 million streams on Spotify & Pandora & a sync placement of “Come On & Move Me” on NBC’s Good Girls. The New Room showcases her talents as a vocalist, songwriter, composer, arranger & producer, delivering a rumination on American identity in complex times.
