Captivated
Karlsruhe, BW, Germany
About
Captivated is a female-fronted crossover band from Karlsruhe, Germany, blending alternative, emo, pop-punk and (post-)metalcore since 2018. Their sound combines emotional lyrics, heavy breakdowns and catchy hooks – somewhere between vulnerability and catharsis. Think A Day To Remember or Holding Absence. Known for their intense and energetic live shows, Captivated brings loud, emotional and physical performances to the stage – with mosh pits, wall of deaths and raw connection. They’ve shared stages with acts like My Elegy, Predatory Void, The Oklahoma Kid and As Everything Unfolds, and shook up the Feldbühne of Das Fest Karlsruhe in 2024. In 2023, the band joined Karlsruhe-based label Iwishicouldstay, releasing their debut EP “Tragedy/Reality” and follow-up singles “Sermonize”, “Winter Ends” and “Solitary Silence”. Beyond the music, Captivated stands for more visibility of FLINTA* people in the heavy scene and founded the FLINTAlternative/Metalcore Festival in 2024. https://linktr.ee/captivatedger
