Calica

About

Calica is an independent artist and producer, born and raised in Miami and now based in Los Angeles. Growing up in a household rooted in Cuban and Puerto Rican culture, she developed a deep appreciation for storytelling and melody, which continues to influence her artistry today. With 30M+ streams across DSPs, her standout singles “Superficial Love,” “Drive Slow,” and “Little Girl” have cemented her as a rising force in the indie music space. Beyond streaming success, her TikTok presence has allowed her to engage directly with fans, offering a behind-the-scenes look at her creative process through song reinterpretations and production content. In recent years Calica has been evolving her sound. Stepping away from polished pop, she’s embracing folk and alt-rock influences for a raw, more personal approach. With an EP set for release in 2025, this new era highlights deep storytelling, raw vocals, and a vulnerable honesty that marks her most authentic work yet.
