Drinks a lot of milk and goes to the movie theater alone (separately, rarely together) Buboy—a Filipino nickname given to a family’s youngest son—has always wanted to prove himself. Growing up in a Florida college town, he spent his hours away from school escaping into movie theaters, his mind constantly racing beyond his friendly neighborhood roots. The 19-year-old songwriter channels that restless energy into songs that are equal parts honest, relatable, and catchy.
