About
Katherine Brophy is a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee who lives by the mantra: "Take care of yourself and others." She's lived all across the continent- from the cold beaches of Rhode Island to the burning desert of California to the lush mountaintops of Colorado- and now finally settling in Music City. Brophy finds inspiration everywhere. Distant memories, dreams, nature, and everyday life occurrences that would ordinarily be passed by become the cornerstone of her unique writing. Brophy’s vocals weave effortlessly through a framework of warm acoustic guitars, roomy, wooden percussion, and a tapestry of lush strings. The Nashville songwriter delivers dynamic, vivid storytelling with a crystalline voice, and captivating melodies that surround and transport the listener. Her debut EP 'Listening Quiet' is out now, featuring co-producers from Twiceyoung and The Light The Heat.
