Brian Howell is a singer-songwriter from Redding California. His journey into becoming a recording artist began in 2019 when he decided to write a song each day of the year. It is from that experience that much of his music today has developed. In the professional world, Brian works as an Area Coordinator in the Residence Halls of his local university, surrounded by students from all across the globe, which has had a huge impact on shaping the style and tone of his sound through the years. His vulnerability bleeds through his songwriting, capturing the heart of love, life and loss in such a way that is both poetic and tangible. His latest release, "Somewhere in the Middle," was heavy influenced by the turmoil of 2020, capturing his personal battle to find belonging and purpose in the midst of a global culture of mistrust and animosity. He continues to write music with the hope of giving voice to the experiences of others.
