Bre Hopkins

About

Bre Hopkins grew up in West Warwick, Rhode Island; raised by a family full of talented musicians. Being forced to sing in the choir at a young age turned Bre off to singing as a hobby, and she instead found her passion to be in sports.
Unfortunately, many years of playing softball left her with a permanently injured shoulder and her time in sports came to an end. Or so she thought. She continued on to pursue a degree in Recording Arts at Full Sail University, which led her back to sports when ESPN hired her on as an Audio Tech.
Her very successful career as a broadcast audio engineer has gone hand-in-hand with her musical endeavors. After lots of push from friends and strangers in karaoke dive bars, Bre decided to give singing a real shot. With just a small home studio in Orlando, FL she began recording her own covers of popular songs including "Uninvited" by Alanis Morissette which quickly reached 100k views.
Although at first, Facebook groups such as "Quarantine Karaoke" provided an outlet to share her new hobby during lockdown in 2020, it quickly became clear that online fans wanted more. So she teamed up with 2 time Billboard Top 40 songwriter Derek Johnson to create an album to showcase her skill as a vocalist with a unique 21st century country sound. The album features Nashville Superstars that have toured with names such as Tim Mcgraw, Jason Aldean, Reba McEntire, and many more.
