About
Brandon Padier is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer hailing from San Antonio, Texas. For Brandon, the song comes first. From his long familial lineage of self taught musicians (Ace Williams & the Brazos Kings, Padier Family Gospel Band) to his time in a myriad of local bands (Adopted Kids, The Texases), as well as his deep love and knowledge of the great 20th century songwriters, Padier has developed a sound that is both wonderfully reminiscent, yet wholly unique - as only a Texas artist can do. Armed with his full band outfit, Brandon Padier & Black Gold has allowed for the songs that Padier has written to be stretched and spun into a rock & roll/alt country/jam band hybrid. Black Gold is described as “Sloe, Low, Down Home Rock & Roll from San Antone” - just as Brandon intended. Brandon is currently on the road performing and promoting his current release, "Kintsugi", his fourth album in almost as many years, and first fully recorded with his band Black Gold. Featuring sprawling guitar solos between Brandon & Cooper Greenberg, tight musical interplay and exceptional lyricism, Kintsugi is Brandon's best work to date. www.brandonpadier.com
